Chisinau, 22 April /MOLDPRES/ – President Maia Sandu has signed the decree on the setting up of the national commission for European integration, the presidential press service has reported.
The commission will coordinate the efforts of preparation and achievement of the national goal of European integration, including the implementation of the reforms assumed by the country through the commitments to the European Union.
The national commission for European integration is chaired by President Maia Sandu. The commission is made up of the following members: Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, Deputy Parliament Speaker Mihail Popsoi, MPs Dumitru Alaiba, Adrian Băluțel, Vladimir Bolea, Lilian Carp, Doina Gherman, Liliana Nicolăescu-Onofrei, Dan Perciun, Olesea Stamate, deputy prime ministers Nicolae Popescu, Oleg Serebrian and Andrei Spinu and ministers Dumitru Budianschi, Sergiu Gaibu, Sergiu Litvinenco and Ana Revenco. The commission also includes the secretary general of the Moldovan President’s Apparatus, Cristina Gherasimov, the presidential adviser in the defence and national security sector, Dorin Recean, the government’s secretary general, Dumitru Udrea, as well as the facilitator of the National Platform of the Eastern Partnership’s Civil Society Forum, Adrian Lupusor.
